A Parsippany firm is in need of a person who is a SQL Server DBA and can also serve as a Cognos/Impromptu Administrator/Specialist . This person would help them manage their data warehouse and clean up some of the ETL problems they have as well as analyze their current data warehouse and production OLTP SQL Server database configurations, backup procedures, etc and suggest improvements and possibly implement the improvements There could be additional "new development" work as well.

This person needs to be self sufficient (from a technical standpoint) in the above areas.
They would prefer contract with a right to hire but would be willing to accept someone who wasn't interested in full time but would take the assignment for a few months. They currently are looking for a full time resource but need someone temporarily to hold down the fort while they search for the right candidate, unless of course contract with a right to hire and worked out well.
Excellent English skills are a must because there could be much interaction with users, especially at the director level and above because of the nature of the people who are interested in the Data warehouse.
