eLearners.com is a rapidly growing Internet marketing company seeking a dynamic Database Administrator to join our expanding technology team.  The successful candidate will control activities related to day-to-day maintenance of all eLearners database systems. This individual will be also responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data structures and reporting on them. Other responsibilities include coordinating database planning and daily monitoring.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Deep experience deploying and working in a high availability, clustered SQL Server environment        (versions 2000/2005)

- Deep experience working in a Windows 2000/2003 environment

- Extensive experience in developing data structures and reports

- Extensive experience in using T-SQL and in writing custom scripts to automate tasks

- Deep understanding of database performance tuning/optimization strategies

- Deep understanding of database backup and recovery strategies

- Skilled in creating technical documentation

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

- Must have strong communication skills

- Experience working in a small company environment is a plus

- Must be a good team player and hard worker

- Reliability and Integrity are important qualities

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
