Job Description(Day to day duties):
This candidate will be Administering and Maintainining Business Intelligence environment,
troubleshooting. Managing SSIS packages to do the nightly refresh of Data.
Performance monitoring and management of cubes, AD-HOC queries, query governance and implement change management to he cubes of process. Optimize the MDX. Will meet regularly with the power users and report writers to review change requests that can affect or change the backend environment. Produce operational reports.
Technical skills essential for this assignment(Prioritize importance most to least):
SR. BI Admin, SQL Server thru 2005, Reporting Services 2005, OLAP Database, SSIS,
Multi Dimensional Data Modeling, MDX, Oracle 9i Background(DBA), familiar with Business Objects Administration.
